Featured Rescue

Wild About Bunnies are pro rescue. We want to be able to support as many as we can, the very best way possible. In order to do this, we feature one rescue for a period of time, whereby you can donate toward a care package for that rescue.  You can add a £1 donation (or greater if you would like to donate more) to your order.

We will collect your monetary donations and turn them into care packages. The package will include much needed food, treats and enrichment. We will regularly promote our featured rescue on our socials, and always post the amount we have received and what that has been turned into, so you can see the difference your pound has made.

100% of your donations will be turned into goodies for the animals in their care.

This month's featured rescue is Tag Pet Rescue

This month’s featured rescue is TAG Pet Rescue (you can find them on Instagram & Facebook). They have a whopping 59 rabbits currently in their care. They have never been so overwhelmed with rabbits. Many of whom, need extra veterinary care as they have various medical issues going on which adds to their already enormous vet bills.
TAG Pet Rescue started in 1988 when a small group of animal lovers decided to take action to tackle the surge in the numbers of unwanted and abandoned animals in Thanet, and so the Thanet Animal Group - now known as TAG Pet Rescue - was born.
They are now the largest animal sanctuary in Thanet and take in the biggest variety of species. They rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, gerbils, degus, budgies, cockatiels, doves and tortoises - to name a few! The birds all stay with them for life in their custom-built aviaries where they can live as a flock in an environment that is as natural and stimulating as possible.
Any animal that cannot be rehomed and requires long term specialist medical care is placed in a carefully chosen permanent foster home, fully supported by TAG. They have always strived to provide better than basic care for companion animals and to this day they are always reviewing and improving everything from their accommodation to their animals’ diets to ensure they are giving them the best life possible during their time with them.
They have strict rehoming criteria & only re-home rabbits according to Rabbit Welfare Association standards.
To support this rescue and the amazing work they do for the animals in their care, you can either make a monetary donation using the link below or an item from the store,  leaving a note at checkout which item/items you're donating. Items they particularly require are:
